More than 100 wounded Ethiopian soldiers were evacuated from different Eritrean hospitals.

Reports indicate that the soldiers who were treated in Senafe, Adi Kaieh, Decmehare, Barentu, and Glas hospitals returned to Ethiopia by a charter flight of Ethiopian Airlines.

The eyewitness also says that at least 10 caskets of dead soldiers were loaded in the airplane in Asmara airport.

Hundreds of wounded Ethiopian soldiers were transferred from the battlefields in Tigray to the hospitals of Senafe, Barentu, and Decmehare. Authorities forced local residents who needed urgent medical care to transfer to the neighboring Adi Kaieh hospital 25 kilometers south of town.
