Eritrean National cycling team wins its 5th consecutive African Championship Title

Eritrea won its 5th professional cycling championship title at an African cup of nations’ tournament that took place in South Africa this Monday the 9th of February beating South Africa and Ethiopia, which came 2nd and 3rd place, respectively.

The Eritrean national team that has participated at the 48-Kilometer Chronometer championship tournament was comprised of Daniel Teklehamanot, Nathanael Berhane, Merhawi Kdus, and Mekseb Debessay.

 

The Eritrean female national cycling team with Wehazit Kidane, Tsehaynesh Futsum, Mosana Debessay, and Yohana Dawit has also participated at the 48-Kilometer Chronometer and secured a 3rd place following the South African and Namibian teams.
