The United Nation’s Secretary General – Ban Ki Moon and the President of the World Bank – Jim Yong Kim are on an official tour in the counties neighboring Eritrea.
Mr. Ban Ki Moon and Dr. Jim Yong Kim have begun their tour from Ethiopia, then Djibouti and then headed to Somalia. They were expected to arrive in Kenya yesterday.
The UN Chief and the World Bank’s president are on a tour to meet with the leaders of those countries and discuss on how to execute the $8 billion US dollars development-fund pledged by the international community to those countries.
The list of donor-organizations pledged for the development fund include the World Bank, African Development Bank, European Union, and the Islamic Development Bank.
