A scuffle erupted between Eritrean and Ethiopian immigrants in the port town of Calais, France.
The immigrants, who used sticks, bottles and rocks, went into the scuffle as they gathered in the town and were waiting for ferries to cross to Great Britain.
At least 15 people have been wounded and one person has been put in to custody by French law enforcement authorities.The French police have also sealed off an industrial area where the refugees inhabited.
51 (fifty one) immigrants were reported to have been wounded in a similar incident that erupted previously between Eritrean and Sudanese nationals.
French media reported that there are 1500 (thousand and five hundred) immigrants in Calais waiting to cross to Great Britain and tensions have been heightened between the immigrants and the police.
