Ethiopians held general election on Sunday the 24th of May and the ruling party of EPRDP is expected to win the election.
The election was held in various parts of the country and that it was reported to have gone smooth without any opposition.
According to the news confirmed by The Reporter newspaper, however, the election in the southern region – Kefa zone – in a town of Bonga was decided to be postponed to unspecified time due to a clash between the supporters of an EPRDP candidate and his opponent, who was running independently.
The Reporter added the opposition parties pointed out their dissatisfaction saying election inspectors were dismissing from the polling stations.
Election results are set to be announced on the 22nd of June.
