The Official Spokesman for the Foreign Ministry stated that this visit comes within the framework of the distinguished bilateral relations between the governments and peoples of Egypt and sister state Eritrea, bilateral coordination and consultation with regard to regional relations and the situation in the Horn of Africa, as well as the means of strengthening bilateral relations, as Eritrea is one of the Nile Basin countries to which the Egyptian foreign policy dedicates special attention.
