Radio Erena: 02 April 2015
The Eritrean government intensifies its preparations to tear down more residential houses in the southern towns of Adi Qeyih, Senafe, Seghenayti, Decamare, and Mendefera, reported Radio Erena sources from Eritrea.
According to the reports, the security agents of government are pushing owners of those flagged houses to voluntarily dismantle their houses and collect their raw materials before the government executes the operation.
It is to be noted that the government was forced to suspend the demolition operation in Adi Qeyih following a harsh protest by the resident of the town.
Meanwhile, our sources from different parts of the country confirm people in Eritrea are suffering from shortage of gas supplies and that this is believed to be exacerbating the situation in the country.
