Ortac Resources Limited – a British exploration and development company confirms its findings of high-grade gold and oxide copper mineral resources in its excavation sites of Yacob Dewar deposit in Eritrea.
In its announcement yesterday, Ortac said the result is such encouraging evidence that the findings have potential for commercial mining.
Yacob Dewar is located within the of Haykota exploration area in Southwest of the country and 50 (fifty) Kilometers away from Bisha exploration site of the Canadian mining company – Nevsun. The gold mineral resources in Yacob Dewar are believed to be higher grade than that of Bisha’s.
Ortac is one of the 16 (sixteen) foreign exploration companies that are engaged in exploring variety of mineral resources in Eritrea.
