Eritrea’s ambassador to the Kingdom of Qatar – Ali Ibrahim Ahmed, delivered President Isaias Afwerki’s letter to the Kingdom to Qatar’s Minister of Transportation – Jasim Alsulati, confirmed the Gulf Times.
According to the news, in the meeting that took place on Tuesday the 2nd of June, the representatives discussed about the possible relations on transportation sector between their countries.
Similarly, the Kingdom’s Ambassador to Djibouti – Jasim Jabir Soror has held talks with the country’s Minister of Energy – Ali Yacob Mahmoud, stated the Gold Times.
Qatar has previously taken initiative to mediate Eritrea and Djibouti and now is trying to get Eritrea and Ethiopia back to the round table.
Qatar is noted to have sent a delegation led by the Kingdom’s deputy minister of foreign affairs to Ethiopia last week and met with the county’s Prime Minister.
