Tens of Eritrean detained in the towns at the boarder of South Sudan after they were allegedly found crossing in to the country from Ethiopia, request to be transferred to the capital Juba.
The Eritreans told Radio Erena that they are detained in the towns by the Nile river and that they urge human rights advocates to rally for their release and be transferred to Juba where they can get help from the UNHCR.
According to numerous reports, many Eritrean immigrants in the Ethiopian refugee camps are reported to be frustrated by the lack of opportunity to be resettled to a third country and that they are seen to risk their lives to cross to South Sudan, Sudan, Kenya and Uganda.
