Thousands of Ethiopian soldiers are currently undergoing military training in Eritrea, according to military sources.
The soldiers that are being given crash courses in Qachero, Demas and Afambo in the vicinities of Omhajer, Gahtelay and Assab respectively are believed to be from the Amhara ethnic group.
The soldiers that have been in training for nearly one month are members of the Amhara militia ground and special forces.
It has been revealed that there has also been an influx of vehicles bringing in new recruits from Ethiopia to the training camps.
Although the exact figures are not known, the number of Ethiopian soldiers that have arrived in Eritrea for crash training courses in military warfare are estimated to be between eight to ten thousand.
