The number of Eritreans crossing over to Israel via the Sinai has gone down to zero, reported Israeli News media citing a statement from the country’s Ministry of Interior Affairs.
According to the reports, Israeli government has installed sophisticated security fences on its 80 per cent of its boarders to prevent the influx of immigrants crossing through the Sinai.
Human rights advocates accuse the Israeli government of denying the tens of thousands Eritreans-dominated-African-immigrants in the country their rights to political asylum and of forcing them to leave the country by repudiating their socio-economic rights.
Meanwhile, it is reported that several Eritrean and Sudanese nationals are believed to be leaving the country.
