Radio Erena: 22 October, 2014
An appeal by the government to all members of the militia which is composed of men of up to age 50 (fifty), to report to their assigned local administration sites for this past Monday October 20th, 2014 is reported to have been unsuccessful.
The appeal – made through posters in the streets of all local administrations, fails to specify the final destination where the militia would be taken to.
According to Erena Radio sources, the local administrations are now threatening to deny issuing new identification and ration cards as per the government’s new announcement, should the militia not report to their assigned sites, accordingly.
The government was forced to make a second plea because the militia did not report to their assigned sites according to the first one.
Erena Radio had previously reported the first appeal and the grave concern it had created up on the people throughout the nation.
