Tens of members of the Eritrean army that suffered life-changing injuries in the war underway in Tigray have been receiving medical treatment in Dongolo, according to Erena sources.
The sources further added that while most of the soldiers wounded in Tigray had been discharged back to their units following treatment at various public and military hospitals, those that had suffered severe disabilities were transferred to Dongolo to be looked after.
The military camp made up of hangars in Dongolo has previously been utilised as a training centre for the naval army, as well as a school for special military cadres and members of intelligence units.
