17 Eritreans immigrants, who were bound to Greece via Turkey by sea, have been rescued by the Turkish coast guard, reported the Kuwaiti News Service.
The Eritreans, who were a part of the 71immigrants from various coasts in the area rescued by the Turkish coast guard after they face an accident as soon as they left the shores of Turkey.
The Turkish coast guard is reported to have similarly rescued 286 immigrants from Eritrea, Ethiopia, Sudan, Somalia, Congo, Gabon, Syria, Iraq and Romania over a period of this month.
Nothing has however been known as of yet on how the Turkish government will handle the cases of these immigrants.
